Michelle Lynch-Bowling, D.D.S., is originally
from Martinsburg, West Virginia. She graduated from
Martinsburg Senior High School in the top ten of her
class. She then attended Boston College and graduated
Cum Laude with a degree in Biology in 2002.
It was at Boston College where Dr. Lynch-Bowling found
an interest in dentistry. She worked for East Boston
Neighborhood Health Center as a dental assistant in
the pediatric clinic two days a week and it was there
where she considered making dentistry a career. Dr.
Lynch-Bowling continued her post-graduate education
at West Virginia University School of Dentistry where
she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree
in 2006.
Dr. Lynch-Bowling was instrumental in bringing the Mission
of Mercy project to Parkersburg. She served on the steering
committee and spent many hours in the planning of the
project, as well as donating her time clinically. Dr.
Lynch-Bowling was granted, The Spirit of Wood County
Award, for her community achievements associated with
the Mission of Mercy project. Dr. Lynch-Bowling also
volunteers in the PALS program, donating her time to
screen preschool children for dental problems.
Dr. Lynch-Bowling enjoys ballet and is a former dancer.
In her limited free time she still enjoys dancing and
sometimes teaching ballet.
Dr. Lynch-Bowling met her husband, Dr. Jason Bowling,
in Morgantown, and they were married in her hometown
of Martinsburg, WV in the spring of 2006. They have
a son, Jay, and a daughter, Malaya, who keep them happily busy away from the
office.
Jason
Bowling, D.D.S.
Jason Bowling, D.D.S., was raised in Parkersburg,
West Virginia and graduated from Parkersburg South High
School in 1996. He attended Virginia Tech and graduated
with a bachelors degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology
in 2001. During his curriculum, he was awarded a fellowship
to conduct research at Fralin Biotechnical Center and
then spent a year working for TechLab, Inc., a private
biotechnology company associated with Virginia Polytechnical
Institute (Virginia Tech). After deciding to dedicate
his future to the field of healthcare, Dr. Bowling attended
graduate school at West Virginia University School of
Dentistry and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery
degree in 2005.
Dr. Bowling is an active volunteer for
the Mission of Mercy projects and served on the steering
committee for the Parkersburg Mission of Mercy that
took place in August 2009.
Dr. Bowling is an active member of the American Dental
Association, the West Virginia Dental Association, and
the Blennerhassett Dental Society. Dr. Bowling has recently
finished serving two one-year terms as Vice President
of the Blennerhassett Dental Society.
Dr. Bowling grew up playing most team sports including
basketball, football, and soccer. He enjoys spending
time outdoors hiking, backpacking, hunting, and fishing
in the great state of West Virginia.
Miranda Dunn, D.D.S.
Miranda Dunn, D.D.S., is a Mineral Wells, West Virginia native. She is a 2000 graduate of Parkersburg South High School. Following one year as a collegiate athlete at Coastal Carolina University, she transferred to Virginia Tech, where she obtained a degree in Human Nutrition, Foods & Exercise in 2004. She then attended West Virginia University and received the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2009. Upon graduation she found working part time at her father, Dr. Wayne Dunn's practice, beneficial, rewarding, and fun.
Dr. Dunn practices general dentistry and holds active dental licenses in West Virginia. She is a member of the West Virginia Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry where she is pursuing an advanced fellowship. Since 2003, she has been actively involved with organizing and/or volunteering in numerous Mission of Mercy clinics, which provides free dental services to those in need. She is currently practicing in Charleston, Hurricane, and Parkersburg.
In her free time Dr. Dunn enjoys playing basketball and other sports, exercising, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She resides in Huntington with her husband Kane and their animals.
Wayne
P. Dunn, D.D.S.
Wayne P. Dunn, D.D.S., was born in England. He was
a few months old when brought to the United States by
his parents. His mother, Eileen, who was born in Ireland,
still lives here. Dr. Dunn grew up in the Pettyville-Mineral
Wells area. He believes his experiences growing up on
a farm make living in the country "a piece of heaven".
Dr. Dunn enjoys sports, hunting, and fishing and has
also enjoyed many years of 4-H and community service
involvement.
Dr. Dunn's love of the outdoors led to a West Virginia
University Forestry and Wildlife Management undergraduate
degree and to spending summers with the U.S. Forest
Service. He also served as an officer and helicopter
pilot in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War before
going to West Virginia University's School of Dentistry,
where he graduated in 1977.
As a result of Dr. Dunn's life-belief that everyone
should work to make a better community and world, he
has contributed financially and personally to numerous
public social causes. In addition, our office supports
many community causes and donates goods and services
through organizations such as Donated Dental Services.
Dr. Dunn was elected as a Wood County Commissioner in
November 2008. He is looking forward to serving his
community and making this a better community for future
generations.
Dr. Dunn was a primary organizer of a large, active
girl's basketball league and the Parkersburg South High
School Girl's Soccer Program.
Professionally, Dr. Dunn is a member of the American
Dental Association, the West Virginia Dental Association
and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Dunn's family runs a Christmas tree farm and practices
sustainable forest management on timberlands. Members
of the Dunn family decided to launch a foundation through
which local West Virginia environmental and educational
groups could apply for funding for their programs, and
to which other people and groups can donate assets and
ideas to advance our common goals. His pride is his
wife, Kay, and daughters, Kim, Miranda and Ashley.

Louise Kelch, R.D.H.
Louise is originally from Michigan.
She grew up in a suburb of Detroit and attended
Michigan State University. Louise graduated from
dental hygiene school in 1983 and moved to Whitehall,
Michigan, to work in a general dentist's office.
While in Whitehall, she met her husband, Ken.
After they were married, they traveled to different
locations with his work for Dupont. They spent
four years in Brockville, Ontario, Canada as well
as Newark, Delaware. Louise and her family have
lived in West Virginia for almost fifteen years
and they feel "very fortunate to have located
here with the beautiful mountains and the friendliest
people in the country". They are currently
living in Washington, West Virginia, with their
two teenagers, Sam and Isabelle. Louise and her
family have accumulated a small zoo of animals
including two cats, two donkeys, and six sheep.
Louise says she enjoys working with Dr.
Dunn, Dr. Bowling, and Dr. Lynch-Bowling and appreciates
the opportunity to work part-time so she can still spend
time with her children and volunteer at their schools.
Louise says that when she's not chauffeuring or chaperoning
the kids, she enjoys walking, reading, cooking, skiing
(definitely an amateur, she says) and shopping.
Amanda Lockhart, R.D.H.
Amanda, who was raised in Wood County, is a Registered
Dental Hygienist and has been working in our office
for eleven years. She is a Cum Laude graduate
of West Liberty State College where she received
her hygiene degree in 2000. Amanda enjoys working
in the dental field. She believes being a hygienist
gives her the opportunity to interact with patients
individually and to help each one. Amanda believes
that it is important to treat each patient in
a friendly, professional manner while maintaining
a comfortable atmosphere.
Outside the office, Amanda enjoys spending time
with her family. She has been happily married
since 2006 and she and her husband have one child,
Carter, born in August 2008. She loves being a
mother and is looking forward to the many joys
and challenges of parenting.
Tiffany Duskey, R.D.H.
Tiffany is a 2004 honors graduate of West Liberty
State College. She grew up in Little Hocking,
Ohio and graduated from Warren High School in
2001. Tiffany previously worked with a periodontist
in Pittsburgh, PA. It is important to Tiffany
that her patients realize that healthy gums as
well as healthy teeth equal full mouth health.
Tiffany wants all her patients to understand that
she cares about them and her attention is on helping
them continue or regain their dental health.
Tiffany is a proud mother of one and is a member
of Lighthouse Baptist Church. She enjoys spending
time with her family and being outdoors. She is
a devout animal-lover, as well.
Douglas Hayes, II, R.D.H.
Doug was born and raised in Middlebourne, West
Virginia. He graduated from Tyler Consolidated
High School in 1995. After completing a Bachelors
degree in Business Administration in 2001 from
West Virginia University Parkersburg, Doug attended
West Liberty State College and graduated from
Dental Hygiene School in 2006. He is excited at
the prospect of beginning his hygiene career in
Parkersburg and believes that caring for patients
is very rewarding.
Doug married his high school sweetheart, Andrea,
and they have a son, Gavin and two daughters, Madelyn and Isabella.
He and his family share their home with their
dogs, Thor and Buddy.
Doug is a physical fitness enthusiast and worked
as a fitness trainer at the JB Chambers YMCA in
Wheeling for three years. He enjoys working out,
rock music, the outdoors, playing racquetball
and paintball, and tinkering around the house.
Kyla Bowles, R.D.H.
Kyla is a Parkersburg native. She attended Parkersburg
South High School and is a recent 2010 graduated
from West Liberty University with her associates
and bachelors degrees in dental hygiene. Kyla
has been a patient at Dr. Dunn's office her entire
life and is excited to start her career in our
friendly office. She strongly believes in patient
education and giving patients all the information
they need to improve their oral health.
She is a newlywed who was recently married in
August of 2010. In her free time she enjoys running,
working out, and spending time with her family.
Kyla is a type A-personality who enjoys organizing
and cleaning her new house.
